Friday I was shooting outside my window and everything was fine. Yesterday, without warning, the pictures (raw mode), (TIFF mode) turned out like patches of colors. The camera is less than 11 months old and no abuse. I am taking this to Fuji tomorrow but just post this and see if someone has any idea of what had happened? This is my first time trying to attach a picture. I hope it turns out alright.

Looks like you S2 has taken a hit of acid. Maybe LSD. Sorry to see it's giving you problems, but at least it's in warranty. Good luck and lets us know what happened. I don't have a clue.

That is the best documented instance of S2 insanity I have seen. Better now than in two months, when it is normally scheduled.
Here's to getting it fixed quickly!

Get it to Fuji ASAP because it is there problem and not yours. Then again you might just be able to start a new art style if you can develop a market for those pictures. Jackson Pollock look out.

CCD was dead and was replaced. Total est. costs $1,600 canadian dollar. US $ 1,200. Under warranty, no charge.
To save for a camera and having it broken in 11 month is beyond bad luck. I have not had a broken computer since my 8088 machine age.
I am just frustrated and wondering if the camera will die again in 11 month's time?
