I bought my S2 about 7 months ago second hand and from the begininng i've always suspected i had a focusing problem.
My first lens was the sigma 18-75 which was highly recommended. I got about 75% of my pictures slightly out of focus.
I took it back and got a Nikon 50mm f1.8 which was better but i was never convinced the camera didnt have a problem.
I also have a nikon 24-85 ed lens which is good but again my images are not perfect, hence i was convinced it was a camera problem.
I searched various forums but this is the first i've seen in which a lot of people are in a similar situation.
I've post a picture just taken and you can see where im trying to focus (between the black lines)...........a definite focusing problem if you ask me.
(its been compressed for uploading so this jpeg doesnt do it justise)
I'm going to try the adjustment described in another thread......fingers crossed.
I would like to chat to fellow members from Scotland....particularly in or around Glasgow........perhaps with a view of getting together and doing a few sample shots to test this out.
