Delays!

Having had my S2 orderered for about three weeks now, I am told I'll be lucky to get it by the end of September. I am told that the shops are lucky to get one or two a week. Is this a general problem in the UK, or am I just unlucky with the store that I have ordered mine from?

Fuji Ireland are supplied through the UK, so what do you think my chances are? I paid my deposit on July 23rd., at which time delivery was expected within two weeks (I confirmed this with Fuji Ireland) Since then, nothing. A very patient girl in Fuji keeps telling me that they have to wait for Fuji UK to release some but she has no idea when this might happen.
In the meantime most of Dublin's twelve camera shops have D100s sitting in their windows!
