Hope you're all doing well. Haven't been here in a while and I need some help. When using the fuji file converter big red ? with file numbers under them come up with an error message (file #....) is broken or not in usable format. I downloaded some very important files from a card reader to my hard disk -Win xp machine-and went back to shooting with the same card after erasing it. When I went to view them 2/3 of the images had the red?. :help: The shots I made on the same cf card after downloaded just fine. I usually download to a g4 powerbook using the CS raw plugin but I had to use the pc on this occassion. Any ideas?

I had that same problem a while back. This link will let you download a trial program that will show you if the files are recoverable. If you buy it ( I did ) for 39.95 you can then recover the files as good as new. It's a good program that worked for me and then you have it if you need it again. I downloaded PHOTORECOVERY and it worked great. Worth a try, also they will walk you right through the whole process by calling the 800 number. Good Luck

Thank you much for the tip. It hasn't worked for me yet but I'll keep trying. The files were not deleted they appear to be corrupt and unreadable.
