...just to see how it works, i tried to merge 2 pics, and saved the panorama ! PS CS created a *.PMG file...

...then I tried to re-open it with PS CS, but NO WAYS !!! All i get is a warning saying: "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document" ! :(

...but if i try to open the *.PMG file from Windows Explorer, it opens PS Elements, without launching the file... then if i try to open the file from PS Elements, i get another warning saying that it "Could not open the file because it cannot find it !" :troutsmac

Any idea/suggestion ?

The .PMG extenstion would be Photo Merge's proprietary file that only it could probably read.

Wasn't there any other way to save it, such as JPG or TIFF?

Strange one this J.P . I use photomerge a bit.
when i ''save as'' or ''save'' i get the option of either *PSD* or a *PDD* file extension , nowhere on my drop down menu is there a *PMG extension .
I normally just use a Jpeg file , sometimes keep the PSD if i know i'll be going back to work on it later .

...I tried again, making sure i was merging .*JPG files, and at the moment of saving i checked, but there ar no way to save it, the only one was under *PMG ! ...maybe it's my version ;) Bryan...

Never mind... as the results are not even approching Panorama Factory, that i normally use...

Jean-Pierre,
Voilą l'erreur!!

You must open PSE,open Photomerge and within it open the .pmg.
That allows you to rework it.
