I have my old WIN98 HD set up as an external drive on my new XP machine. I want to extract some more data before I wipe the disk clean to use for storage.
So far I've been able to locate my Internet Explorer favorites which is helpful but I can't seem to find my Outlook Express local folders or old address book. I have found several listings for IE Wab address book which should take me to the old address book but I'm told, "this is not your vbook viewer. Do you want to make it your default vbook viewer?" I've said "no" as I don't know what a vbook viewer is. When I say no, my current address book pops up, not the old one I'm looking for. Is it safe to accept the vbook viewer thingie as a temporary solution? If I do that can I go back so everything works like it should in XPLandia?? Any other ideas on how to locate this stuff? The old computer is toast and so its not an option to fire it up.
Thanks.
