I have a Simpletech 1GB Compactflash card and a Type II Sandisk PC Card adapter. The 1GB card is to big(thick) for the PC card. I don't get it. I called Simpletech and they said all the Manufacturers PC card adapters are pretty much the same. Does anyone know the mystery to this one?

I have a 256MB CF card and a Microdrive and the CF card is not as thick as the Microdrive. The bottom line is that if the thing does not fit then you need to buy a reader that will take all your cards through thick and thin. I use an Imation FlashGO and it reads all my digital memory. Even the old SmartMedia cards from days gone by with the use of an adapter.

I also have 1GB simple tech CF. I just got my PC card from Simple tech and it works fine w/ all other CF cards I have. Are you sure that Sandisk PC Card is CF type 2 compatible PC card?
