I've got the G5 Mac and PS CS. A buddy has a PC and is giving me some actions he has. Are they compatable with a MAC from a PC? Where would I put said actions once I get them?

Thanks,

Not sure if they are cross platform compatible but try one and see. They go in: Applications>Adobe Photoshop CS>Presets>Photoshop Actions. Then in photoshop, click on the little triangle in the upper right of the Actions Pallet and go to Load Actions. It should go right to the folder where the actions are stored. If not point it to the path shown above.
And let me know if they work.

Hi There,

The actions are cross platform and you don't need to put them in the actions folder. Just click on the load actions in the actions palatte and locate where you put the action from your friend. It will then load it into th ewindow and keep it there.

It worked. I went to load action under the action tab and they loaded the whole group up. The actions themselves work fine too. Thank you for your help.
