Many thanks to all who left info regarding adapting and using MB16 power pack to power the S2.
I purchased mine today for £53.49 from Jessops I then spent about 1 hour with a file reshaping the grip to fit my S2.
I haven't needed to use or adapt the white plastic cover and it appears to be working fine. :D
