I did the action download and put it in the actions folder with the rest in PS-CS but it doesn't show in the actions pallette menu. ANy ideas where I'm going wrong???

but this guy seems making money on his work, so just let you know how nice the 10d finisher is. back to your question, I am not familiar with CS, doesn't matter. open your file(to be processed), bring out action windows(window-->actions), upper right triangle, load actions(10D),highlight it, press play buttom downside, wait and see the changes.

Besides copying it, you'll need to go to your actions pallete and at the top right corner, there's a "play" looking circular button. Press it and there will be a load action command there. Select your new action and it will then show in your list of actions.
