cheers

me so lucky. the ordered 2100 was a DOA (dead on arrival).
the shop seems to need a while to get another model and deliver it.

this brings me to another question:
anyone heard if theres a succesor to the 2100/2200 in the oven?
whats the common timeline or signs for epson launches in this class?
the 2100/2200 is quite some time on the market now.
this might explain why the order takes longer than usual. a few online shops
dont have it listed at all anymore.

We still have the 2200 available in Canada, no 2100 model here. A quick question with one of my suppliers gave the answer that no new models were expected at this time. However, I suspect that if the 2200 isn't available in Europe, then you might see the replacement for it at Photokina in October. I look forward to Epson's new printers. I have had 4 Epson printers in the past 8 years and they all still work, (although I have given away the older two). For most work I think that they are great. I plan to convert my 1280 to a dedicated black and white printer when I get a new colour printer, perhaps in the new year.
