This is NOT new and it's considered by most to NOT be a cost effective alternative to buying some of the less expensive CR123a disposables. They don't state what the ratings of these cells are in Amp Hours. (standard characteristic)
A set of 2 cells and a charger plus 2 spares and a car cord will cost you about $150 US.
You can buy a hell of a lot of CR123a lithiums for that much $'s

I use the MB16 but the CR123A are also useful to have around.
I use my S2 in an Ikelite housing when scuba diving. The housing wont fit the MB16 as well so I have to use the CR123A.
I only get about 200 shots from a fresh set of CR123A.
I've just ordered a charger plus a set of 4 rechargeable CR123s from
http://www.2cr5.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Shopping_Rechargeable_CR123A_Batteries_and_ Chargers_2.html
Cost of charger = £40 plus two sets of batteries = £30.
Total £70+VAT = £85 , more lor less equivalent to prrice of MB16.

Hi Knight,
So the MB 16 works for the S2 pro too? I did not know that. I thought it is for the D 100. Where did you get your mb16? Thanks.
