Is this lens any good?

I see what appears to be a good deal on this lens at Black's. Does anyone have any experience with it? Will it work on the S2?

Any lens with a Nikon F mount will work with the S2. Of course a Nikon lens is usually better, but much more expensive.

Go to the shop with you camera and ask to test it. Ask for the Nikon AF-D mount, this provides all functions including 3D Matrix and distance information.

I have experience with an Old Sigma 70-210 UCII, but not AF. This lens is good and I still use it sometimes with my Nikon F301
