This is a portion of a portrait I took of my son, then manipulated in PS 7. Please critique. I rarely show my work, simply because it is too "out there" for most. However, since joining this forum, I feel that we are an open minded group. I am not asking for the pic to be analyzed for it's technical value, but rather it's "feel."
Thanks,
Mystie

That is radical! Like the light of a childs mind. I love it! If you could give a glimmer on how you achieved this? It ROCKS!

I love your work! Do you have a place were you display your work on line?

Probitas,
Thank you so much for the compliment! I rarely show my work. I am not sure if it is a lack of confidence seeing that there is so much wonderful work out there, or if it is just procrastination.
It does warm me to hear such positive criticism, and also encourages me to post more often. I have macro shot in the S2 photo gallery called "*****e...France that is" and here is a link to the pb gallery where I have 2 more images of Danien, one using the same shot above.

As stated, I am an Art teacher, and approach my photography in that manner. Thus, it takes me awhile to create an image because I see the original as the "draft" of the final piece that must be modified.
Again, thnk you.
Michael
