Welcome Monk. The image appears a little soft on my side. Was this the full frame resized or is this a full sized crop? Great lighting though!

I'd add the picture crop is great too!
How do you like this lens?
And Welcome! :)

Thanks for the reply guys. I just cropped a certain area of the image. I've been digital for a year now and I've grown tired of the other forums where I don't learn much on the tech end. I ran across this site and thought I would give it a try. Igor.. I love this lens. great quality and it does the job. Swampy.. I use soft lighting in studio, a 27x57 softbox for my main and a 4'x6' softbox for my fill and a lightpanel for another fill. I hope to learn alot here.. thanks guys!

Monk,
Great shot. Took me a second to realize he was holding a filter. Excellent.

Excellent shot. I am surprised his fingers look soft at f11, though. And as a pro digital retoucher, I want desparately to clean his finger. <g>

I think it's entirely possible that the boy moved his hand a bit as the shutter was open. At F11 in soft, low light, the shutter's not going to clip off at 1/500, eh? Still a beautiful shot, nice light, beautiful eyes on the child. Nice work, Monk.
