TAKE THEM OUT ! LEAVE THEM OUT. Get a Nikon flash with TTL and use the flash shoe on the camera. You will shoot with flash till the cows come home. NO PROBLEMS. If you want to go a step further get a strobo arm so you can shoot vericals with the flash still over the camera not on the side. Get a flash that the pivots upward and use a deffuser.
