Cleaning technique?

Evening folks!

CAn anybody give me a clue as to where I can get step by step instructions as to how to clean the CCD in the S2Pro? Just lately I have begun to fight what looks like smudges on some of my images. It is now to the point where I have to take some action. Your help as always will be appreciated!

they show a Nikon camera in the pictures but this works for S2pro and others.
