The warranty is up on my S2 in August this year, I am after any suggestions as to what to do. Any links for insurance or possible extension on my existing warranty would be of great help.

Have you tried them to see if they offer an extended warranty?

I bought my S2 in December '03. A couple of months ago I got a mailshot from Fuji asking me if I wanted to extend the manufacturer's guarantee. I'm sure Fuji would be only too happy to sell you another couple of years warranty. Before you ask, I don't know how much it cost (I binned it).

I had a similar thing through the door recently too. I don't think that it was directly from Fuji as it said that I had had the camera for nearly a year and that my warranty was nearly up. I had only had the camera for 4 months so I thought it was a scam and binned it.
Have you had any joy finding an extended warranty?

Sorry for taking so long to reply back about the warranty.
Was going to cost £90 for an extended warranty, that was just for the camera body. Looked into camera insurance and for £83 managed to get all my kit insured lenses etc and also having public liability insurance if I am doing a shoot for someone. At least all of my kit is insured which gives me peace of mind.

Where did you get that deal and what is the small print if the camera breaks down or develops a small fault?

Didn't think of it as a 'deal' It's just insurance if it breaks down, I drop it, it gets nicked or whatever it is covered.
The company is E&L
