Repair advice, please

I found a March '04 thread about repair in Edison, NJ, and an older one that recommended calling ahead. I'm hoping to have my out-of-warranty S2 cleaned and checked while I'm on a two-week vacation. Anybody with more recent experience and suggestions? By the way, has anyone noticed the "Smiley" drinking from a glass -- the glass looks like a shoe-mount flash until it tips!?!?

I would give them a call and find out what the charge will be. It might be costly. This will also let you know what kind of turn around they are working on right now. I've had nothing but good things to say about the repair from Edison.
