Hi
I have recently upgraded my S1 to an S2 and I am very diappointed with the sharpness of my images. This problem doesn't seem to occur all the time. I shot some automatic barriers to a car park and they were incredibly sharp and yet a portrait I shot outdoors was less than sharp.
I have spoken to Fuji Technical and they say that they researched Pro users like myself and the response was that the S1 was too sharp and that is why the S2 is not as sharp. The way to get around the problem is to shoot using the HARD setting and to add 150% 2 & 2 USM in PS. I think that this is unacceptable and that if something isn't broken (i.e. the S1) why try and fix it?
I welcome your thoughts and comments?
Cheers
