TTL only works from 100 – 400 asa / iso

--- so the most necessary features to work in some situations are drastically limited in TTL.
what about 800 and 1600 ? … just forget them ˇˇˇ overexposed ( TTL ).

--- F stop limitations depending from asa settings….

[[[[[[[[[[[ WoW ]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

400 asa/iso only works below 5.6 apertures , 200 asa/iso F.4.8 ( almost F.5.6 ), 160asa/iso F4.8 (almost F.5.6) and finally 100 asa/iso F.4.

What means this ??? …. Lens over 5.6 in flash TTL flash mode ( the most versatile mode to work with flash ) and in poor illumination conditions , shots will be always overexpose .

You cant use all luminosity pro features in your more expensive LENS because S2 doesn’t ALLOW with flash in TTL mode.

All this is explained on user guide page 68 – 69 .

I think people should know this before buying camera , maybe some people doesn’t need this pro features but I think price is overvalued without that compatibility.

I would change my opinion if firmware update would be available to correct that serious technique fault, but S2 was released almost year ago …and Fuji does not says anything.

This is correct. TTL does not work reliably at ISO settings 800 and above. Just set your flash to Auto and don't use TTL at 800 & 1600, or figure out the appropriate Manual settings--- F stop limitations depending from asa settings….

You've misread the manual. You are looking at the apertures that are automatically selected by the camera in Program mode, not the apertures that can be selected in other modes.

It's probably worth re-reading. These notes apply to Program mode, which is a mode designed to make it easy to take photographs under typical conditions with little knowledge or intervention.

"When the exposure mode is "P" Multi-programmed Auto, the widest setting that can be automatically set by the camera is governed by the ISO setting used, as shown in the table below."

Program mode really isn't a "Pro" feature. The D1 series doesn't even have it, so don't get too upset.

Just use Aperture or Shutter priority if you need TTL control at wide apertures.

Sorry but this test was done in Manual mode ......

I was very sad when I discover that , page 68 - 69 in manual , doesnt says that this limitations depends if your using, Manual , Program , Auto ( F ) , Auto ( S ).

Also I must say ... that F 2.8 at 400 asa is controlable in 2 ways

seting -3EV or just puting 14 wideangle reflector or 17mm wide adaptor.

Anyway F 2 or 1.8 I couldn´t test , I supose that will be overexposed.
