Tokina 28-70mm f2.6/2.8 ATX Pro

I still haven't had much chance to play with this lens but what I've seen so far looks very promising.
The two 100% crops are straight from the EX raw conversion with no sharpening or other trickery - certainly holds detail well!

I had this lens for a few years. Certainly had no complaints about detail or built quality, my peeve is the min focusing distance. too far! :guzzle: (the smiley had nothing to do with anything, just making a statement, :D )

I have had this lens for about 9 months. It has become my most used lens. Very sharp, wonderful build quality. Great deal compared to equivelent Nikkor.

I now have the newer SV constant f2.8 version, just a little smaller & lighter but must admit I'm still hankering for an affordable standard zoom that starts at 24mm rather than 28mm.
