Anyway, with physical therapy, legal issues surrounding my accident, and various other things taking up my time, I haven't had much time yet to use my new S2. Also, photos from my first couple of outings were lost to a HD failure, and almost a month of rain and gloom followed. So, having some spare time yesterday, seeing that it was bright and sunny out, I decided to drive to a favorite seashore spot and get a couple hours of shooting in, hopefully culminating with some nice twilight/sunset pics.

Well, wouldn't you know, by the time I made it to the spot I was heading to, dark and ominous clouds had appeared in the sky and just begun to obliterate the sun. In the couple of minutes I sat there wondering if I wanted to try to salvage a few shots anyway, it started to rain vigorously. In the course of a half-hour or so, it had gone from beautiful blue skies with small tufts of white clouds to horror movie clouds and lots of rain. Oh well.

Anyway, I sat there for a few minutes enjoying the seaside storm but not wanting to take my new S2 for a walk in the rain, and ended up taking a shot of myself in the rear-view mirror plus the rain pouring down the windshield. That was about the only option left to me at that point, so I decided to take at least one photo, lol.

Anyway, figured I'd post it just for the heck of it. I now have a digital library consisting of 1 photo, since my HD crash took the 100 or so images I'd taken up til that point. Hopefully, I'll get out this weekend for some extensive picture taking, weather permitting.

Hmm, maybe I'll use this as my new avatar.
