Adaptec 4300 firewire card ?

Hi to all , hope some body can help me , I am interested in buying
the adptec 4300 firewire card , has anybody used this card , would it be suitable to use it with my S2Pro ,the other reason is that i can use it for video Editing ,or is there any other suggestions,

This card work very well with the S2 pro, under Windows XP.

I use it also with my Sony PC/100 digital camera for vido editing.
For video/capture, with a suitable hardware, you won't lose a frame.

Thanks for the info would I have any trouble running on win 2000 Pro with service pack 2 or 3.
