I am trying to make a PS action that will open a folder of files, lay a “copyright” layer on top and then flatten and save as a jpeg.
Every possible combination I have tried has failed.
Can anyone tell me how to batch process a folder to put a layer on each from a different file and then save the files.
Or can this not be done in PS.
It is getting me very frustrated.
Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

What I do is to first open the file with the "Copyright" layer, select all, and then copy. You can then run a batch file that will simply paste, which creates a new layer.

I have an action that I use to create a Copyright symbol onto an image.
I have attached the actions and the one that will save the file as a jpeg afterwards is called web page copy. You can modify this to whatever you want. I have attached two pics to show before and after. PM me if you need more of an explanation.

I'll try Tom and and Andrew.
I'll have a play and try out your methods and your actions Andrew

I have done this also but from a different angle.
I open an image, start the action and make a new layer, type on or design my copywite on the new layer, flatten and stop the action. The problem I then ran into was the difference with vetical and horizontal images, so I had to make two actions.
