The newly nikon 12-24mm G lens, does anyone know if it would fit on the S2 Pro!?

Yes it is supposed to. Pop Photo published an article that says it doesn't which was refuted by someone who tried one at a trade show and Nikon camera wonk Thom Hogan. Apparently the popphoto people took a look at the list of Nikon approved cameras and made an inaccurate assumption based on what they didn't see listed.

There have been a few threads in http://www.dpreview.com in the Fuji DSLR forum. Try a search there. If you ask over there they will probably try to trounce you, or maybe direct you to one of the last six threads on that subject.

Good to know! Thanks! I have been looking for some-kind of WideAngle, but it seems to me that everything is not wide enough!

What do you mean we might trounce you? :-) You're probably referring to me as I've given a stearn response a couple of times on that subject when Pop Photo first published that article. I'd see the same subject three times on the first page of the forum.
