This was taken on Saturday in Liverpool when 33 girls went out in fancy dress.

No i'm still here pete ,thanks .
As you know Lime street on saturday night , and those girls would be at home .
My wife comes from Birkdale , my mother-in-law still lives in the 'pool' all my mothers side come from preston , ormskirk, and fleetwood , my cousin played soccer for Barrow and Liverpool reserves back in the 60's .
So as you can see i've many connections in the north west .

My mum and dad live in Formby by the squirrel reserve. You probably wouldn't want to be 'round Lime street on Saturday night these days, it's a bit rough.
You should see what they are doing around Mathew street. Absolutely beautiful! There is a lot of money being invested due to the city of culture award.

We have something called the National Trust that conserves local areas and in England the Red squirrel was dying out because the grey was taking over.
This is a nature reserve were the red squirrel is looked after. You can feed them and take photo's of them.

Brian - your reference to 'Kirby' - that's not West Kirby on the Wirral is it - that's a strange place. My in-laws live there now. My wife came from Alerton - they lived round the corner from Macca.
We went out to celbrate our anniversary in Liverpool once - on a Monday night, McDonalds had bouncers on the door !! Great night out though. :cheers:

ah, the 'pool. what a great place. I lived in Southport for 18 yrs - Ainsdale, Birkdale, Lord St and did you mean ' kuurrrbee ' Sandman? ha ha ha ha keep posting you mad people cus this a great site to read when I have the time!
