I usually get rid of moire in Corel Photo-Paint, but I would like to do it in Photoshop. The problem is: How do you do it. I can't find it on the menus and a search of the Help functions returns that it cannot find "moire". So now I am asking the real experts: How the heck do you do it in Photoshop?

This page shows moire and has an action that you can download free to fix it:

Hope this helps.

I use the Photoshop Actions mentioned above. They work great!
Actions are like a Macro, a little script that runs different functions automatically or with your imput. You can run pre-made actions (like above), make your own, edit them, stop them halfway thru, etc. They are handy little buggers for speeding up repetitive steps.
You can apply the Action to individual layers (if you are using multiple layers in Photoshop), and the action (as supplied) will flatten your layers! You can open the Action in the Action Palette and make it go step-by-step, and opt out of the flattening.

But my computer goofed up and posted it as a new thread. I'm sure I pressed the correct button.

Wayne. Here's a link to Eddie Tapp's website PDF file for EASILY correcting moire in Photoshop. He also has other useful PDF's on his website.
Good Luck!
