Eddie,

I think is this a great shot - what do you mean PS didn't want to play ?

I really like the simple tones - what were your settings ?

This is a nice shot i like it , but if u want to do it on real B/W ( so no yellow and Bllack as it is), use discard colours or go to the menu image/mode/grayscale image and than u can convert it on RGB mode on the same menu if u wat to apply a bichromic effect. i like to use the dualtone effect of photoshop but i found that this filter gives me some problems during the print and specially during the colour separation on the typographic proces , so i use allways an image in RGB format but converted to grayscale.

Thanks guys,

Mark: i was trying to use the channel mixer to create the B/W version but i messed up the settings. i was getting frustrated with it so i just click OK.

Petrit: i will have to give it a try with your technique, to see if i have any luck. i really love B/W photos but have not been able to get the tones to look like some of the submissions on this forums.

well back to the image again. we'll see what happens next.
