My S2 locks up (mirror swings up and returns only with second
shutter press and the hotshoe flash dosen't fire) This happens
under the following conditions. AC adapter connected, cr123
batteries not installed, fire wire connected to lap top and on
for more than 2 hours. A half hour off and things return to normal.
A return for service found no problem but I don't think they duplicated the conditions. I think it may be a heat build up
in one of the circuits that will not show up with the computer
connected as computer seems to disable the auto shut-off.
