I lost mt synchromizing terminal cap for the S2. Where do I go to replace it?
Thanks in advance,
Terry

EVERYONE loses it or takes it off and doesn't bother to replace it. Unless you don't use a synch cord at all and just want to replace it for cosmetic reasons, why bother? If it's that important to you, call a big camera store and ask for one, I'm sure it's a standard item.

Good! Forget that terminal cap! Screwing it in and out can loosen the terminal itself, which can ruin the terminal and make it worthless. My terminal unscrewed the second time I unscrewed the cap. The terminal came out of the camera body, exposing the little wire(s). It eventually stopped working alltogether.
I would send you my unwanted cap, but I don't want to contribute to the demise of your PC terminal.

Actually I have not taken mine off very often so it is still on the camera. I use a Paramount cord that plugs into the hot shoe so I don't have all the PC cord trouble that I have with my Hasselblads. That cord never fails. Wish the 'Blads came with hot shoes too.

The 1st thing I did after buying a new Nikon camera is:
Screw out the cap and put it in the paper basket!
So it is out of your mind and you will never have a problem with it.
This cap is as important as a "third nose hole"
:D

If you're concerned with the sync socket getting crud in/on it just put a small piece of black gaffer tape over it. I usually take off the OEM cap off and leave it in my spare/misc parts drawer if I want to sell the body later. With gaffer tape, you could just stick it to somewhere on the body so you won't lose it, and if you do BFD.

If you use PC X alot ,it's worth to invest in "Wein" product #
W990515 to protect the main board on S2.... otherwise you "ll
pay for the dammage....600$....:(
