This picture shows the somewhat sorry state that she arrived in. She's still a very beautiful piece of machinery, though.

Comments welcome. :)

Its a teriffic documentary shot Eddie and I like the tonality a lot. I'm struggling with digital B&W right now. Also loved the angle in the nose shot over in color. Too bad the 14mm isn't 14mm on the S2, eh? Even wider would have been better. Same applies to the 12-24 I have. 12mm is nice but still ain't quite enough on the S2.

Everything that Mike said, it is looking rather sorry even though it still retains some of its former elegance....like a race horse past its track days!

B/W is definitely the medium for this reportage shot which will only grow in historic significance with time, well captured Eddie :righton:

Thanks very much guys. I don't do much in mono these days but this one was screaming out for it. It's just not the same in colour.
Mike - I think I'd find anything wider than 14mm a bit too much for everyday use, and I can always put the lens on my F100 (I did this the other day and pointed it down at my feet -whooaaaa!!).

Cheers,

Eddie
