Canon has announced a new magnesium body CMOS digital SLR.
Could a tougher bodied Nikon or Fuji be on the way?
"The Canon EOS 10D is a 6.3 megapixel (CMOS [x1.6]) digital SLR with high-speed, wide-area 7-point AF with superimposed focusing points. Built on a rigid, magnesium body, the camera offers outstanding durability within the harshest of environments, and accepts Canon's full line of EF lenses. The EOS 10D has a suggested retail price of US $1,999 (est. Street $1,499) and will be available in March 2003."
