An advertising client asked me to shoot full-length people for magazine ads and I want to use my S2. My default ISO is 200, but I wonder if anyone has experience with using ISO 100 in a similar situaion. Since the ads will be printed at 300dpi, am I safe using F-3024 or do I need to bump it up to H-3024?

When ever possible, I use the largest file size or RAW at ISO100. Why would you want to use anything less? Editing is easier with higher resolution images. Pictures of a full-length person require the highest resolution in case the client later wants to use a smaller portion for some other purpose. Do you want to explain your situation?

Based upon my experience, and if this was my advertising client, I'd shoot 'em raw. This will allow you wide latitude in correcting exposure or color temp problems after the shoot. Regarding best ISO, it depends on lighting conditions, indoor or outdoor, end usage requirements, etc. But (for commercial clients) always shoot the maximum image you (or your equipment) is capable of producing.

I almost ALWAYS shoot at ISO 100 unless there is a reason not to. I never shoot with any JPG compression for anything that is going to be commercially printed. I would use maximum pixels, and in RAW format.
