Ron , everybody on this forum will wish you a happy outcome to whatever problems you have , but speaking as a family and business man, as you too are , nothing , but nothing, comes close to a healthy and happy family , business woes whatever they are , can be sorted out ,
A healthy , happy family is priceless .

Brian.

Have a great Easter weekend.

I do not pray... but I certainly AM WITH YOU in thoughts... hoping your health, or whatever is causing you problem, will get fixed soon ! Despite my lack of "religiousity", I do beleive that, if as many people as possible think hard and hope for the good, it'll work !!!
In the meantime, take great care of yourself, and please, stay in touch, because here, you've got friends !!!

Thank you all so very, very much. You've brought a tear to my eye and the sun on my shoulders! Yes, family is the most important thing. My family here at home and my second family on this forum. I cannot express how much this has meant to me. I'll keep you informed on the outcome, which I hope will be soon. I am sure my improved outlook is due in large part to the positive thoughts and prayers coming from you guys.

Hi Ron,

Something I've learned over the years is that community is very important - to me and to others. I think it is cool that we have taken technology (the internet) and created all of these "communities" worldwide. It is my belief that the main goal in life is to be around those who love and support us, and to do the same for others. That is when we are truly at "home".

So know that you are not alone - and that our thoughts and prayers are always with you.

take care, my friend!

Ron,

I hope that what challenge you face, you are able to be face. I certainly deal with a substantial amount of issues in my life at home, and rather than get depressed, I let life unfold as it will and amuse me. I don't pray, but I prepare for the worst and hope for the best (Well, maybe I don't prepare enough - in most senarios it involves saving money.).

I am hoping for some good luck for you.

This online community is a wonderful companion for us all. I am glad you found us worthy of your attention.

God bless you, gang. So much support and so many kind and good words. In my heart, with your help of prayer and positive thoughts, the burden this situation brought has been lifted. I will be happy and peaceful regardless of the outcome. I just needed to be reminded not to let anyone or anything take my peace from me and you guys did a bang up job of reminding me. I won't know the outcome for a couple of weeks and will keep you posted and fill in the details at that time. I could not have arrived at this point without all of your help. So true that we prosper when surrounded by those who care about and support us. :righton:

Ron,

Only just saw this, but even if I didn't send thought specifically your way, they are always there for all my 'family.' May you feel them and the outcome be what you need.

I'm another one who doesn't pray, but you certainly have my support through whatever troubles you face. Keep talking to people; and remember, if you had to eat an elephant you wouldn't be able to do it in one mouthful - you'd take a small bite and work on from there - so grab hold of something positive and don't let go.

All the best,

Ross

In the last ten years I have had more than my share of troubles. Just about every quarter has been attacked. Prayers help, support from friends and associates help and professionals can help. All of it has left my wife and I broke, sick, and depressed; but we are manageing the best as we can. If things get too bad I will just liquidate and relocate. Easter was great, I had a great time last night reading books to my grandson, I read the same books to my granddaughter this evening, my young son is a straight "A" student, and my wife and I are both recovering from serious illnesses. Count your blessings and put things in perspective. Then spend extra time with the blessings. And when you pray don't forget to give thanks for those blessings.

Thanks for the good advice, Wayne. I will keep you, and the others on this forum, in my prayers as well. I certainly hope you and your wife are indeed on the road to recovery. Again, thank you to everyone who has responded with prayers and positive thoughts. I'm with you on the liquidate and relocate. Must be the Cherokee in our blood. :) Land on the Big Island of Hawaii is cheaper than it is in Western Colorado. Hey, Hula, how would you like some new neighbors?

Come on over but come quick! Big Island land is hot-hot-hot as they say. Maui and Kauai are sort of "over" and too developed already. Hope you like the look of a lava lawn, not much else on Big Island. (wink) Great diving though.

Happy days are here again. Well, they already were, thanks to you guys. I listened to all the great advice, positive thought and prayer and put this problem in the hands of God. Or Grandfather, as my Cherokee family would say. The problem has been sifted and now blows in the wind. I cannot get into too much detail, since there is still a legal consideration. Suffice to say that I had spent over a years worth of time, talent and money to shoot a major project when the person who signed over the photo rights to me decided that he no longer wanted to go through with the contract. He prevented me from shooting and was very, very abrasive. Several short stories, twists and turns in this one, but I'll keep it short and sweet. He ended up selling his business and interest in this project. I contacted the new owners, who had already seen my book on the project. They are inviting me to continue with the shoot. In fact, the president of the company has contracted me to shoot some locations in Denver for him. I will, of course, put together a contract regarding the big project. Without my being able to shoot the conclusion of this project, the hard cover coffee table book would not happen. It now looks like we will be on our way, God willing and the creek don't rise. Much more than that, this project is very close to my heart. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart to the top of my bald spot. With your kind words, support, positive thought, private emails and prayer, I have come through the other side of this storm. Gotta love this forum.

Ron,

I am very happy to see the problem has resloved itself, and in a favorable light!

It sounds like it may end better than it would have had you not had the 'roadbump.'

Maybe soon, I can see the top of that head!

You are so right, Linda. The way it is working out now is much better than it was before. Plus, I think I've learned a little bit more about myself and I like what I see!

You, Mel and Swampy probably won't even need reflectors if I'm around. I look forward to catching up with you guys this Mem Day Weekend. Should I bring my camping stove/grill so we can fix some nice, big, juicy steaks and baked beans? I'll bring a cooler stocked with ice cold pop, juice and water for the park. That's the advantage of living nearby, I don't have to check anything at security nor find room for it on a long drive. Should I bring anythin else? Oh, yeah. My camera.

What? I can't check my coleman stove? I guess propane tanks as carry on's is a no no too? LOL

I remember the good ol days, where I could carry a gun on board and people could smoke. I don't even think they made you turn off your walkman's back then either. Not that laptops, PDA's, cell phones, or any standard electronics will have any effect on how the plane operates even today.

OK ok. So you probably never could carry a gun on a public flight, but I did once. Was late catching a flight in Kalamazoo, MI, to O'hare connecting to Orange County once. I show up with a broken down rifle in a nice hard case, ready to check it and they tell me to go straight to the plane and carry all my stuff on. Nice security, eh? I did end up checking it in O'hare though since I really didn't want any trouble.

I have no idea what the schedule is Ron. But cooking and cleaning up seems like an awful lot of work and time consuming to me, not that I don't enjoy a good steak out in the middle of no where.

I usually go in style when I cook while camping. a couple of full size 4 burner stoves, 2 picnic tables, chairs, big fire pit with a grill over that. Cognac (in the proper glasses even) and cigars afterwards...

To heck with Colorado, let's go to Orange County, CA where we'll shoot a how-to book on cook outs! Yeah, it would take away time to prepare and clean up...but....I might bring it anyway, just in case!

Last time I slept in a rain soaked tent with seven kids trying to huddle around a primus stove :D but its nice to get away just with friends occasionally. I really hope you guys get a chance to do it :beerchug:
