Scheduled down time.

Since we haven't completely fixed all the problems with the server, it is still blue screening every couple of days. With that, we've scheduled an automated reboot at 3am Pacific Time. This should prevent the blue screens as it seems to be a build up over time problem.

The reason for this is to prevent database corruption, which has happened once already. When I get back from vacation, I'll resume troubleshooting.

Wow dude that is crazy your getting a blue screen, I used to cause the blue screen of death to people on IRC back in the day

Hello Swampy,

is this 12am here in Germany (10 UTC)? I sometimes take a look before meal from the office, and exactly at 12 o'clock browsing stopps. Some minutes later everything is fine again - I thought about a windows-server... Don't worry about the blue screens, this is normal :-( I only use Sun Solaris or Novell Netware when building a server :D
