Adobe Camera RAW!!

Ooooooh! So I broke down and bought the new Adobe RAW plugin. And ohmygod is it ever good. It is everything I wanted Bibble to be - FAST (on my G4 500DP) with great color, excellent sharpening, excellent white balance, an amazing histogram, and and and and!!!

I love it.

This is one of the first times I've spent $100 on software and not felt buyer's remorse immediately :)

I downloaded the software today and just now tried to install. Right after I "accept" (the legal stuff) I get an error message that says it can't find Photoshop...please reinstall. I have PS7.01 running on the latest version of Apple's OSX. Can anyone help? :confused:

Yes Camera Raw is amazing!!! It is so worth the money. It flies!
Lance you might want to open the photoshop folder, open the plugins folder and drop the plugins directly into the files and format folder. Once you start up Photoshop, they should be availbe for use when you try to open or import the file, Raw should be an option.
Not to mention, JPEG 2000 is amazing. Completely loseeless JPEGS, amazing. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that I can't get past the installer file. When i double click, it attempts to install but can't find Photoshop. For now, I have given up. :( :( :(

Are there any drawbacks to the Adobe plugin ? I have heard some S2pro users complain of strange artifacts when used with Fuji files- any experience with this ?
