many microbanding shows up, i did all of the stuff, re-align head, clean-deep clean, that thing still stood up there..., this is happen in highest quality mode.
another problem is, in standart mode i get the best B/W tone, but however, it had clearly visible thin line, whilts in highqulity mode i got reddish or often brownish B/W...

I don't know what to tell you.
But once you get the clog fixed, never turn off the power to your printer.
I leave ALL my printers on 24/7 and I have never had a "clog".
I have Canon and HP printers, and I've owned Epsons, and never a clog when I've left them on 24/7.
BUT, if you DO turn off your printer, use the power button on the printer, and not, say, a switch on a power strip.

When you say banding, what do you mean? I am getting a very, very thin line throughout. Not always evenly spaced and clearly visible. It looks gray because of the color around it and its thinness. Is this your same problem?

Apologies if you've already thought of this...
Have you changed paper ? - my most common cause of banding is not selecting the correct paper - wrong paper thickness can lead to banding...
Usually happens when I use paper other than the manufacturers own, and have to find which paper type works best for that brand and paper type.
Keith.

Keith- Didn't think the small difference in thickness would affect it. Used Ilford Gallerie Classic Pearl (240gsm). Went back to Kodak Premium (220 gsm) and no lines. Too bad, the Pearl was nice. I'll try changing the lever on the printer to see if it can accommodate the thicker paper, without banding. Now I have a color shift (too yellow) that wasn't there before. If it not one thing, it's another. Thanks- Bruce

for yellow color shift u can adjust the color manually (not auto) try to reduce yellow by -25, same for me to overcome red shift manually i adjusting the colour...
btw bruce, try to print in standart mode, u'll have perfect color rendition but...visible banding lines everywhere..
and how do you think people, is this a signal to buy new print head ?? quite costly here..
