The detail of this camera is extraordinary. This is just a quick photo with a 50mm lens of a basket of hanging flowers

I have tried and tried to pics on this board, to no avail. After I add the attachment via the browse button... no result. I wrote to the administrator to ask them to walk me through the process. I am doing something wrong and I do not know what it is.

You're probably clicking "Preview Reply" after browsing the image. That's a good way to make your attachment disappear.

If you want your pics posted directly into a thread here, all you have to do is have the pics posted somewhere on the Internet, and then just paste the full hyperlink of the pic into your posting.
If you aren't sure what the URL is, you can right-click on the picture and select "Properties". Then you'll see the Address (URL) for the picture. Highlight the entire text (make sure you get the filename with the .jpg at the end), right-click select Copy, and then right-click in your post here, and select paste.
