CF card not initialized??? HELP

Oh boy...ok...I have the lexar 1 gb 40x wa card and it's not initialized? I can't seem do do anything with it. I've got the images off of the card, but now the camera won't see it. What do I do now. I can't find the Lexar software either...I might have deleted it...like everyone does...lol.

PS and the camera won't let me format the CF either...

I rebuilt the folders and put a raw image in the 100_FUJI folder. It didn't want to see it at first, but it let me format the card on the third try.

Any ideas on what happened and if my fix actually did any damage?

Bujo- Put in "cni" into a search on this forum and you'll pull up a thread Swampy started that many of us have subscribed to, after having the same problem. Mine when I first put in a card. No problems after that. -Bruce

I had the same problem a few weeks ago, but reformatting did the trick. The strange thing was that the card worked perfectly in my D1 without reformatting.
