Hi Everyone,
I'm not sure which forum is the best one to post this, so I though I would try it here.
I have just purchased an iMac to replace my old Windows 98 PC (it kept crashing all of the time and was very slow). Printing in Photoshop (PS) on the PC was no problem... I have an Epson Stylus Photo 870 and when I printed from the PC, the colour reproduction on my prints was almost identical to what was on the monitor. However, after installing PS on my iMac and setuping up the same printer with it, printing from iMac yields prints where the colour is not accurate. They are washed out and not accurate as to what is on my monitor. From the print menu I have chosen the correct size and type of paper from the Epson print driver (like on the PC version)
Is there a colour profile I need to change someplace? I am a neophyte in colour management and still finding my way around PS. My iMac is a G4, 800MHz, 768 MB RAM, Mac OS 10.2.4.
THANKS for your help!
Roel
