Q-flash with S2

I'd like to use my Q-flash T2 TTLwith my S2 (when I get it)and with the Kodak 760. This requires the same D-12 module for both according to a phone tech at Quantum. He also said that my flash would have to upgraded to Digital ($125) for it to work. I thought I read somewhere that you only needed the upgrade if you wanted the new fancy digital features and that the q-flash would work o.k. in TTL without upgrading it. Does anybody know for sure if a non digital Q-flash T2 will work with the digital cameras without the upgrade.

It will work I use it non ttl but it works fine. When you upgrade it helps with black backgrounds the sensor compensates for the black when the subject is to far. I read it on some web site there is also different power functions like auto off or something like that. Hope that helps. ALso try the quantom site it tells more about the upgrade.
