I found this bird's nest in the middle of a thorny bush yesterday afternoon on my walk. Regret not paying closer attention to the DOF--the front branches out of focus kind of spoil the image, but I did wonder how the bird got to the nest...absolutely surrounded by thorny branches. Dangerous flying.
