Hello,

Has anyone experience with this, either the online or seminar program? I'm interested, especially in the online because I can review it as I please.

I did an Epson Print Academy Seminar with Vincent Versace. I got a lot out of it, and he is a great speaker. I would say go for it.

I did the live seminar with Versace. He's a good speaker, but the information was often more of a Photoshop tricks presentation than anything especially relevant to Epson printers. The worst part was Versace passing along bad information. He did a "nudge nudge, wink wink" hint that the Epson 2200 has the same printhead and ink as the 7600/9600 and suggested that Bill Atkinson's profiles for the wide format printers were good with the 2200 as well. VERY wrong. Atkinson profiles on the 2200 generate prints with a strong green cast. Finding this out was a waste of time and materials for me.

At the live seminar, there was a gallery of Epson prints from several famous photographers. This was a nice to see. The CDs I took away with me were very basic and I never use them as a reference. I've read that Epson has tried to improve the content of the academy. If you're a novice it may be worth the modest investment although online you'll miss the showmanship and gallery. If you're more advanced, I'd suggest investing in a new book on Photoshop or something else that will deliver greater information value.
