Nice...looks infared too...The trees up there are so cool looking.

Good shot.

The gondola stopped at about 8000 feet, where there was a good outdoor restaurant and hiking trails. Our group hiked the short 1 mile trail that rose another 300 feet, and the hiking stick someone conveniently left at the trail head made it easier with my arthritis. The view up there was awesome, but hazy. Along with the late day golden grasses, the aspens looked like they were painted, very smooth, and contrasted with the dark green conifers. A few hardy souls had mountain bikes and used the low gears up the slopes.

That is just such a beautifull shot, I love birch trees and groves,
this would look great in a large print, Bravo!

Yes, lucious image. The softness of the grasses sets off the linearity of the Aspens. Nice.

Thanks Bujo, Serge, Mike. I appreciate the comments. Must admit when I saw that stretch I fired off a dozen and got a couple of good ones. The color pics were a little strange as the hues the S2 were giving me couldn't be corrected with white balance. Sent some prints to Fuji repair and they fixed the camera last fall. The people at the Edison, NJ repair facility are super.
