Has any of you used the Epson Stylus C82?
I'm very dissapointed with this printer, all printouts have a very strong magenda cast which cannot be avoided via controls.
Color profiles are installed and seem ok, but the results are awfull.
Even my seven years old Stylus Photo and Canon BJC7000 produce much, much better results.

Any suggestions?

I have the C82, and I am certainly not impresssed by it's ability with photos. I use it mainly for office functions. I like the fact that it has "water resistant" inks, and individual ink tanks. That I LOVE!

My Epson 1280 blows it away!

I agree, it's not a photo printer, but every doc I print even from MS Office comes out with this cast. Blue letters are mauve.
Couldn't they make it less pinker??

Thanks for the post.
