Ok, here's the sequence from the Coyote last weekend. Distance was 75 yards down to around 5-7 feet!

Thanks, Swampy. Those are good shots. I really like the coyote-on-the-rock photo. Too bad the sun wasn't on the opposite side. Nature photos are my main interest, with animals topping the list. :)

I'm going to try and get some better shots out there this weekend. This was my first trip out there and we went in the afternoon. It looks as though all of the shots would be coming from "that side" so I'm going out early on Saturday so the sun will be on the other side. Hopefully I'll have my new mountain bikes in on Friday so I'll be able to cover more ground. Someone on a bike told me there was a mountain lion doing some hunting further up, but I was already pushing my point of no return walk and the next leg of the trail was all uphill. When I get home, I have a couple of a squirrel that came out pretty good which I'll post those and a few others. Funny, was watching the squirrel in the under brush picking up a nut, then he ran up to the top of this tree and accidentally dropped it. He's like half bent over looking down for it with that look-- Ahhh maaaaaan.... I'll post them up later this evening.
