I've looked all over the Abobe site for the camera raw plug-in for 7.0, but all I can find is the plug-in or update for CS. This one won't work for 7.0. Does anyone know where I can locate the plug-in for 7.0?

I am unaware that there is one. How about trying the CS plugin and see if it works on 7? Shouldn't do any harm except not work.

Adobe introduced the 1.0 version of ACR for Photoshop 7 and sold it for $100. It had problems with Fuji raw files. It didn't recognize the color temp embedded in the file and it didn't do as good a job with demosaicing as the EX converter. ACR produced more jaggies on some diagonals.
Anyway, this plugin can no longer be purchased and the new version is only for CS. The one for CS is much improved with a lot more features. I recognizes embedded color temp info from .raf files and it creates great output that equals EX for detail. It's a lot faster to use. EX still beats ACR in that it recognizes camera settings for color, tone, and sharpening. ACR only gets color temp, you have to set the rest.
If you don't want to move to Photoshop CS, the Bibble converter has a Photoshop plugin. It's not nearly as good at converting image files as EX or ACR, however.

ACR v1 only works in PS 7.01
PS7.01 has a pirate sireal number/ copyprotection lookup inthe code.
If the serial number that you are using has been 'published' on the internet then it will not upgrade from 7.00 to 7.01 You then need to phone Adobe to get a new code ;-) or purchase a legit copy.

Hi 5string and all the others
Maybe you can try this:
http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-PaloAlto/9919/s7raw.html
It is a freeware raw-converter for fuji S5000/7000, but also suitable for F700 und S2 Pro as an test version. For further details look at dpreview.com / Forum (Fuji Talk). Search for "s7raw"
regards

The 7.0 plug-in was $100. The CS upgrade is $169- the difference is worth the $69. Seriously.
