For those in the crowd who have Macs and are looking for a new way to waste all your time, I suggest Garageband, the new app for making music.. Too much fun and well worth the $50 they 're asking for it.
If you ever had the itch to make music but took the money your mother gave you for piano lessons and saved up for Nikkor glass, this is the app for you!!!

I think I'm gonna try it. Have you played with it yet, Ian. I've always wanted to try my hand at techno/trance music. For $50 you get the whole iLife suite.

played with it? I spent all last night doodling with it... well worth the $50 and the best part is dumping them into iTunes and your iPod and cranking your creation in the car,... very cool!
If you get it, find the app called Dent Du Midi. Coverts MIDI files to aiff and you drag and drop them into GB,giving you a means to instant remixes of all your favourite songs!...
I bought a MIDI keyboard as well and that fun too! Crabby you'll be trancing out in minutes! way too easy!
as for iPhoto, I don't use it much but what little I have played with it, it is faster.

Good grief, is it a time sink. I'll never get all my Photoshop work done now.
