Hi
To escape from 3 min conversion time in Fuji EX RAW file converter, I download trial version of Bibble to check if it is wart to bay. Time to convert improves drastically -25s, but noises on 1s dark frame (to check hot pixels) are terrible comparing to clean black background w EX.
Reason – Trial version or my fold
My comp 800 Mhz , 760 RAM

I'm not sure what you are getting at with a black frame, the noise is going to always be there at that exposure length.

Also if you have autoleveling on A black frame photo is going to come out unusually bright as thats what autoleveling does. Stretch the histogram of the data, since a dark frame doesn't have much its going to get pulled apart and radically brightened.

Hi Eric
This is picture of sky (3 sec exp.)
The same picture in EX is clear (stars on black sky)
How you will fix banding with levels and not wipeout stars.
Where from is this banding?
